The 'MIDI In' light on the interface flashes red, which goes to a solid red when a key is pressed on the keyboard, which I believe means that the interface is receiving the signal (though I could be wrong - I would have thought the light would be green if it worked properly). I want to use my keyboard to be able to program drums more quickly and easily than using the mouse or virtual keyboard, but I'm quite stuck.īasically, I plug the keyboard into the audio interface (via 5-pin DIN cable, 'MIDI Out' from the keyboard to 'MIDI In' on the audio interface) which is then connected to my Windows 10 laptop via USB 2.0. The title kind of says my problem in a nutshell, but further details are as follows. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, and I have searched the forum and found a similar issue to mine, but the tips didn't solve my problem, so I hope it's OK to make this thread!
